IPEC is incorporated as a Section 8 not-for-profit company

The International Process Excellence Council was formally incorporated as a Section 8 not-for-profit company under the Companies Act, 2013, on 15 July 2025.

The organisation was established to advance excellence in education, governance, healthcare, knowledge management and institutional transformation through research, capacity building and implementation support.

IPEC is registered under Section 12A of the Income Tax Act and under Section 80G, enabling eligible donors to claim tax benefits on qualifying donations, subject to applicable law. These registrations enable the Council to receive grants, philanthropic contributions and Corporate Social Responsibility funding in support of its public benefit initiatives.
