02 — Ambassador network

Become an IPEC Ambassador.

Frameworks do not implement themselves. Nationwide educational change requires far more capable hands than any single organisation can employ — and that capacity already exists, unorganised.

One million per country

The network

The long-term vision is a community of one million ambassadors per country: students, teachers, researchers, school leaders, professionals and volunteers who contribute to curriculum development, translation, research, outreach and institutional transformation.

IPEC describes the figure of one million ambassadors per country explicitly as a long-term aspiration rather than a current achievement. The network is at an early stage of formation.

02 — What is asked of you

Five commitments.

  • 01Complete the structured training pathway for your domain
  • 02Support at least one institution in your region
  • 03Contribute to curriculum, translation, research or outreach
  • 04Observe the Ambassador Code of Conduct
  • 05Report annually on contribution

An institution that has been promised support and does not receive it is worse off than one that was never approached. The Council would rather have fewer ambassadors who follow through.
