To establish a national framework for Process Excellence in education that supports the implementation of NEP 2030 across schools, colleges, universities and research institutions.

Why it exists

Educational institutions rarely fail because of a lack of vision; they often struggle because of inconsistent execution. This Committee redesigns how institutions work by applying internationally recognised improvement methodologies.

Where the Academic Excellence Committee defines what should be learned, the Process Excellence Committee defines how it is implemented.

Vision

To establish a culture of continuous improvement across educational institutions by integrating globally recognised Process Excellence methodologies into teaching, learning, administration, governance, research and community engagement, enabling institutions to deliver measurable educational outcomes aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.

Mission

To develop implementation frameworks, standards, methodologies and capacity-building programmes that enable schools, colleges, universities, research institutions and educational agencies to systematically improve quality, efficiency, innovation and stakeholder satisfaction.

Curriculum

To develop world-class Process Excellence curricula that equip learners, educators, administrators and institutional leaders with the knowledge, skills and mindset required for continuous improvement throughout their academic and professional lives.

Mission

To design age-appropriate, multidisciplinary, competency-based curricula integrating Lean Thinking, Six Sigma, Kaizen, quality management, systems thinking, project management, data literacy, artificial intelligence and innovation for learners from school through higher education.
