01 — The challenge
Process Excellence had been taught to engineers, managers and clinicians for decades. It had rarely been taught to schoolchildren — and almost never using the school's own operations as the case material.
02 — What was done
The programme introduced 5S, Kaizen, DMAIC, root cause analysis, 5 Why analysis and continuous improvement, taught not as management theory but as a way of looking at ordinary things: how a period changes over, how materials are found, why a queue forms.
03 — Who was involved
More than 350 students from Classes 6 to 12, together with teachers and members of the school leadership.
04 — What was learned
The programme demonstrated that Process Excellence methodologies could be integrated into school education to improve learning practices and institutional effectiveness — and that the methods do not need to be simplified for younger learners so much as grounded in things they already see.

The Agra deployment informed the design of the school-level White Belt framework subsequently developed at Lucknow, and the student-led project model taken further at Ballia.
